Grab yourself a late deal >Turkey villas 'popular for honeymooners'
More loved up Brits are seeking holiday villas in Turkey for their honeymoon, according to one expert.
Simon Cooper, chief executive of holiday finder On the Beach, has pointed out that his company has seen a rise in honeymoon getaways to this country over the last two years.
During this time, many couples who have tied the knot have also opted to spend their first few days as a married couple in the Canary Islands or Egypt, Mr Cooper added.
"For happy couples looking to book their honeymoon for this year and for 2012, we would suggest booking early in order to grab one of the many early booking discounts available," the expert advised partners still yet to snap up holiday villas.
His advice comes soon after HolidayExtra.com research found that 56 per cent of couples see a secluded beach as their dream honeymoon destination.
Mr Cooper believes that the reason for the high figure is that such resorts "offer guaranteed sun" during their stay.
