Turkey villas 'offer a different holiday experience'
Brits who are hoping to go somewhere a little different this year, but keep with the familiarity of holiday resorts closer to home, may want to snap up villas in Turkey.
Chris Brown, the co-founder of sunshine.co.uk, believes that part of the appeal that makes this country different and recognisable at the same time is that it's based in both Europe and Asia.
When it comes to deciding on where to stay, Mr Brown advised: "Resorts like Marmaris are brilliant for British holidaymakers, as a range of cuisines can be found in the restaurants and there are plenty of activities to keep tourists busy; you'll even find the odd McDonalds there!"
Egypt villas could also prove appealing to holiday makers looking for a getaway which takes them outside of Europe, the expert went on to recommend.
His comments were made after a sunshine.co.uk study found that 34 per cent of Brits have never gone on holiday in a destination other than those in Europe.
