Turkey villas: Istanbul 'is a place every person should visit'
Holiday makers have been encouraged to book up Turkey villas near to the city of Istanbul, as the location offers plenty of entertaining features.
Joanna Marsh, a spokeswoman for the Turkish Culture and Tourism Office, believes that the destination has history and culture associated with it.
Furthermore, Istanbul provides a unique "meeting point" between the continents of Europe and Asia, Ms Marsh pointed out.
"These days too it is a really vibrant cosmopolitan city with some great restaurants and nightlife," she added.
As a result, the expert has told Brits considering staying in villas in Turkey: "Istanbul is one of those cities which everyone has on their list of places to visit at least once in their lifetime."
For amazing sights, tourists may want to head along to the city's Sultanahmet region, which is home to such attractions as the 400-year-old Blue Mosque and the Topkapi Palace – former home to the Ottoman Sultans.
