Turkey villa holidays to be enjoyed on a budget this year?
Brits hoping to enjoy a getaway in the months ahead, such as with relaxing holidays to Turkey, will be looking to do so while on a budget.
This is according to new research commissioned by Sainsbury's Travel Insurance, which detailed that 78 per cent of British holiday makers look to cut the costs of their next trip abroad.
One way in which people look to slice the price of their holiday will be to leave it until later in the year to book their getaway.
According to the survey, 6.8 million holiday makers will arrange their next getaway by the end of next month - down from the 13.4 million who did so during the same period in 2011.
David Barrett, the manager of Sainsbury's Travel Insurance, noted: "It appears that more people will delay booking their holiday this year, presumably hoping to secure a better deal and the majority of us are aiming to reduce our spending money too."
When it comes to deciding where to base a stay in Turkey villas around, Cheapflights.co.uk recently noted that the Aegean Coast resort of the Samson Mountains "offers the perfect setting for a thoroughly relaxing holiday".
