Turkey 'is one of world's top holiday destinations'
Taking a holiday in Turkey has been highlighted as one of the best options for those looking to get away from the UK in 2011.
In its list of the top 20 destinations for breaks over the next 12 months, the Daily Telegraph nominates the country's Bay of Kumlubuk.
The publication goes on to suggest it may be a spot that is to "set a trend" this year, with unspoilt beaches and rich history seeping from every pore.
Among the activities holiday makers in the coastal resort can enjoy are walking and biking, with the surrounding landscape ideal for both.
There may even be the potential to use the holiday in Turkey to explore other parts of the country, with its vast coastline arguably accessible to those who invest in hiring a car for their stay.
Comparison site Travelsupermarket.com recently named Turkey as its number one holiday spot for 2011.
