Turkey holidays have been recommended as an option for people hoping to get away during the months of April and May.
The Times published a list of 30 destinations that will meet the needs of travellers looking for some sun during the spring.
Adventurous holiday makers were urged to consider Dalyan as their destination, with plenty of outdoor activities on offer in the town and surrounding areas.
Guests staying in Dalyan villas can go trekking, set off on a Jeep safari or explore some nearby canyons.
The newspaper also recommended Kalkan for people planning Turkey holidays in April or May, pointing out that it boasts a number of shops and restaurants that are worth visiting.
Several other destinations featured in the Times' list, including Spain, which encompasses everything from quaint seafront villages on the Costa Blanca and Costa del Sol to island retreats in the Balearics and Canaries.
Travellers who opt for a break in the Algarve this year can visit Tavira, which is located 40km from Faro and is described by the newspaper as an "attractive town".
