Grab yourself a late deal >Turkey holidays recommended for sun lovers
TripAdvisor, the world's largest online travel community, has announced the results of its 2010 Travellers' Choice Destination Awards survey, which saw Turkey holidays coming strongly recommended for sun seekers.
Oludeniz on the Aegean coast was voted the top beach destination in Europe, with TripAdvisor saying that the waters surrounding the small village are "an achingly beautiful gradient of blue".
People planning to visit the destination during a Turkey villa holiday will have the opportunity to see it from above, as Oludeniz is one of the world's leading destinations for paragliding.
Holiday makers staying in Dalyan villas will also be treated to some luxury by the sea, with the resort taking fourth place in the list of Europe's top sun and beach destinations.
Visitors were urged to see the Lycian tombs that are carved into cliffs along the Dalyan Cayi river and try out some of the bike rides, beach sports and adventure tours that are available in the area.
TripAdvisor's list of the top ten beach holiday hotspots in Europe also included Lagos in Portugal's Algarve region and Protaras in Cyprus.
