Turkey holiday villas promise access to 'grand beaches'
People visiting holiday villas in Turkey will find that some of the world's most exquisite beaches are right on their doorsteps.
According to lifestyle magazine In2Town, Turkey boasts a wide assortment of beaches that spill out into the Mediterranean Sea.
Unlike those in Spain, Greece or Italy though, Turkey's beaches also remain something of a hidden delight, meaning that they promise a world of tranquillity as well as beauty.
In2Town gave special mention to Olu Deniz beach, the country's most famous, which is noteworthy for its excellent bars, water sports and scuba diving.
Slightly more off the beaten track is Iztuzu near Dalyan, which is only accessible via a 20 minute boatride.
Set in a national conservation area, the beach is also one of the last breeding grounds for the Loggerhead Sea Turtle in the whole of Europe, a sight to behold for anyone lucky enough to see them.
"There is a lot of beach, and the water is warm and shallow. Nearby, there are some cliff tombs you can explore as well," the website noted.
For those not taking holidays in Dalyan or Olu Deniz, there is plenty more to explore on Turkey's Mediterranean coast, including great shopping opportunities, bags of history and famed local cuisine.
