Tourists given chance to book flights for holiday in Turkey next winter
People eyeing a holiday in Turkey next winter have been handed an opportunity to get the ball rolling when it comes to making concrete plans for their trip.
Popular leisure airline Monarch has made its schedule available for the 2011-12 season, with passengers able to confirm seats on routes to a host of destinations now.
One such holiday spot is Turkey, which the carrier serves from its bases at London Gatwick, London Luton, Birmingham and Manchester airports.
Monarch's managing director Tim Jeans says the decision to release flights at this stage "provides customers with the opportunity to plan ahead and grab a great deal on flights to their favourite winter sun destinations".
In addition to a journey to the country, holiday makers may like to take the opportunity to book a villa in Turkey for their break.
Eithne Nightingale, a reader of the Daily Telegraph, recently got in touch with the newspaper to nominate Turkey as her choice for one of Europe's greatest delights.
