Stay in 'trendy' Bodrum on a Turkey villa holiday

Those planning Turkey holidays and looking for somewhere trendy to stay could rent villas in the resort of Bodrum.

According to an article in OK! magazine, Bodrum is the Turkish equivalent to St Tropez on the French Riviera.

Indeed, it offers glitz, glamour and plenty of sunshine for those who want to hang out in the restaurants along its yacht marina or shop in its bustling bazaars.

And like St Tropez it also draws in the celebrities, with everyone from Nicole Kidman to Beyonce Knowles holidaying in the resort.

OK! magazine also points out that since Turkey is not in the eurozone, it offers great value for money at the moment.

A Bodrum villa holiday could therefore be the perfect choice for those seeking an autumn break in the sun.

The publication states out that even in October, temperatures hover around a "very pleasant" 70 degrees Fahrenheit, or 21 degrees Celsius, which could suit those who enjoy chilling out on the beach.

A Turkey villa in Bodrum could be a great base from which to explore the Aegean coast, as holiday makers can take traditional gulet boat trips to quiet secluded coves from the resort marina.
