People planning on heading abroad for a well-deserved break by booking villas in Turkey, have been told how they can make their spending money go further.
Nadine Hallak, travel expert for Cheapflights.co.uk, believes that there are many ways which can allow families to enjoy a budget holiday.
She advises that tourists make use of travel apps on their smartphones wherever possible, as well as pack pre-paid currency cards to try and restrict the cash they spend abroad.
"Choosing to travel off-peak is one of the best ways of cutting down on costs as well as of avoiding the crowds," Ms Hallak also pointed out.
Studying exchange rates, packing only the essential items to keep baggage weights low and looking for cheap but effective travel insurance are among the other tips given by Ms Hallak.
Those who opt for a stay in Turkey villas will have the chance to seek out the Ottoman Murad Hudavendigar Mosque and the Temple of Athena if they visit Assos during their holiday.
