Holiday makers have been given some advice so that they can have the best possible time when on their getaway, which could take place in villas in Turkey.
Gocompare.com's head of travel, Jeremy Cryer, has given the advice following the results of a study carried out by the comparison website.
It has found that just two-thirds of people return home from their trip overseas feeling relaxed and refreshed after their break.
Furthermore, only 39 per cent of respondents said that they had received good value for money for their holiday, while 13 per cent admitted to spending too much cash when abroad.
However, Mr Cryer advised: "While there is little we can do about the weather spoiling our holiday, we can take steps to be better organised financially and better protected should the worst happen when we are abroad."
Brits looking to stay in Turkey villas in the south west of the country may want to plan their money expenditure in particular.
This is after a TravelBite.co.uk writer acknowledged that the area is full of entertaining spots, such as Calis and Olu Deniz.
