Holiday in Turkey is unbeatable for "value and variety"
A travel expert has urged people to book holidays in Turkey, citing the "value and variety" of the country as the major reason for doing so.
Sophie Butler, writing for the Daily Telegraph, explains it is home to inventive and tasty cuisine, ensuring visitors will never find it hard to source a delicious meal.
She goes on to note the major factors in a break in the area include a reliable supply of sunshine, ancient culture and a plethora of activities to enjoy on both land and water.
While there are other countries in the vicinity that offer a similar experience, a holiday in Turkey has one major advantage over them all – it is not in the eurozone, ensuring costs are kept relatively low.
"In short, for value and variety, Turkey is unbeatable for a summer holiday in 2011," concludes Ms Butler.
Nick Trend, author of a piece for the newspaper recently, said the ancient sites of Turkey make it a special place to visit.
