Holiday in Turkey 'is a favourite for sailing fanatics'
Those who love to go sailing may find everything they are looking for and more on a holiday in Turkey.
The Turkish Culture and Tourism Office in the UK has spoken of the fantastic facilities for such individuals available in the country.
With 8,000 km of beautiful coastline, 311 Blue Flag beaches and the world's third-largest production of luxury yachts, Turkey is well qualified when it comes to the sea.
And the organisation explains people who travel to the nation can enjoy a host of festivals, races and regattas, while those who wish to experience the ocean without the effort can sit back on board a tour boat.
In addition to this, Britons on holiday in Turkey will have the chance to sample some of the country's new marinas, with the latest set to open in Dalaman.
Travelsupermarket.com recently named Turkey as the top place to travel to in 2011.
