Explore Turtle Beach on a Turkey villa holiday
Holiday makers who will be visiting the resort of Marmaris and nearby areas during a Turkey villa break this year have been encouraged to see Turtle Beach.
An article published in the Mail on Sunday recommended the location, which serves as a protected reserve for turtles, as one of the top places to visit in Turkey.
People staying in Dalyan villas can explore the beach before heading back into town to enjoy a Turkish bath, known locally as a 'hammam'.
The Mail on Sunday described Marmaris as "a very good introduction to Turkey", with a location on the south coast that combines mountain scenery with easy access to a sheltered bay.
Another destination travellers should consider visiting during a Turkey holiday, according to the article, is Bodrum, one of the country's "most select resorts".
Visitors can take a walk around the marina and see St Peter's Castle, which today houses artefacts from ancient shipwrecks at the Museum of Underwater Archaeology.
The Mail on Sunday also recommended visiting Antalya and taking boat trips along the coast.
