Enjoy a late Turkey holiday in Kas
Britons may want to look into booking Kas villas for a late sunshine getaway to Turkey.
According to the Guardian's Nicola Iseard, Kas - which is located on the Lycian coast - could be ideal for a September holiday that offers plenty of warm sunshine.
The fishing village has much to offer holiday makers seeking a relaxing break abroad, especially those looking to take in attractions along the Lycian Way, the writer suggests.
This walking route stretches for some 500 km along the coastline and features a range of historic monuments, villages and sights for visitors to examine along the way.
For those who love water sports and diving in particular, Ms Iseard says local villagers recommend the period just after the first rain of the autumn, which usually occurs between later September and October.
"This is when you can see the most fish activity," she explains.
Other potential destinations for Turkey villa holidays include Kalkan, Hisaronu, Ovacik and Kaya.
