Culture and history treats around Turkey villas
Those staying in Turkey villas have been told that there are plenty of ways to explore the country's unique culture.
For example, those with a keen interest in nature have been encouraged by a TravelBite.co.uk writer to seek out the Dalyan Delta.
Based in the south-west coast of Turkey, the attraction is home to over 150 varieties of birds, as well as rare and endangered turtles.
For British tourists who would like to see more of the nation's history while occupying villas in Turkey, the expert has suggested paying a visit to the ancient city of Caunos.
"The settlement dates back thousands of years and its ruins still have evidence of its earlier greatness, with a theatre, a Byzantine church, tombs and a large rectangular building that experts believe may have been a temple," they explained.
Turkey has recently proved the holiday resort of choice for former Eastender Natalie Cassidy, who was spotted adventuring in the country's Mediterranean waters.
