Consider Altinkum when booking villas in Turkey

People thinking about jetting off to a Turkey villa holiday this year have been advised to check out the resort of Altinkum.

Based on the Aegean Coast of the country, the destination has become a popular venue for holiday makers to spend some weeks with their feet up, according to Didim Today.

One of the reasons for Altinkum coming into style with those booking holiday villas in Turkey is the fact that the location still uses the Turkish Lira, thus providing a more reasonably priced experience than some other European countries.

However, it is not just the cost that should attract families to spend some time in Altinkum, with the temple of Apollo in Didim and a nearby water park just some of the entertaining attractions, the news source pointed out.

Its author added: "There are also many excursions on offer such as boot trips, trips to the Greek island of Kos, Turkish Baths and trips to other areas of Turkey."

Earlier this week, Diana Darke, an author for Bradt Travel Guides, told Brits not to forget about the option of Eastern Turkey when booking a holiday, as the destination provides "magnificent wild scenery".
