Music fans planning a Turkey villa holiday in May will be treated to some live entertainment in one of the country's leading resorts.

The 2010 Sunsplash Antalya festival will run from May 23rd to 30th.

Organisers of the event describe it as a "week-long private party on Turkey's stunning Mediterranean coast".

Every year, Sunsplash brings together a varied line-up of top DJs, with this year's programme featuring the likes of Jamie Lidell, Gilles Peterson, Norman Jay, Phil Asher and Rainer Trueby.

The main venue for the festival is the Hillside Su, a five-star design hotel with its own stretch of Blue Flag-certified beachfront.

People planning Turkey villa holidays can book event-only passes and head to the venue to enjoy some live music and take in the festival atmosphere.

The country also offers plenty of opportunities to try adventurous activities, such as trekking through some of its mountainous terrain or going scuba diving.
