Book a Turkey villa holiday and enjoy 'eastern promise'

A holiday in Turkey could be appealing for Brits because it promises eastern exoticism, it has been suggested.

According to thetravelmagazine.net, Turkey is a destination that also offers great value for money, a factor which means that people from the UK will carry on choosing to visit its sun-baked shores.

"The pull of eastern promise has always been appealing to British travellers," said Sharron Livingston, editor of the site.

Turkey villa holidays, particularly those along the Aegean and Mediterranean coast lines, have become much more popular with Brits in recent years, a trend that looks set to continue.

In fact, a report from American Express Global Foreign Exchange Services last month highlighted Turkey as one of its holiday hotspots for 2010.

Terry Perrin, director of trading and business development at the firm, explained there was a 26 per cent increase in the volume of currency conversions for trips to Turkey.

This prompted him to suggest more holiday makers are choosing the country because it offers "guaranteed sunshine and value for money".

Turkey villa holidays on the Aegean coast offer access to miles of exquisite beaches, a cosmopolitan mixture of shopping experiences - from high-class department stores to traditional bazaars - and exotic cuisine at the many waterside cafes and bistros.
