Areas to seek out when in villas in Turkey
Brits who are thinking about booking up late summer stays in Turkey villas have been told why they should opt for a visit to the Bozburun peninsula.
According to a writer at TravelBite.co.uk, the region is home to a host of resorts that encourage tourists to relax and enjoy the hot climate.
One of these locations is the village of Selimiye, which is home to an "unspoilt setting and laidback way of life", according to the expert.
"Surrounded by a backdrop that alternates between mountains and aquamarine waters, the area is home to idyllic whitewashed cottages, cosy restaurants … and a boat-lined harbour," they added.
Some other appealing features of Selimiye include a beach covered in eye-catching golden sands, as well as such dazzling countryside sights as olive groves and a castle with links to the Middle Ages.
Another sun-kissed location to explore when visiting villas in Turkey is Fethiye, which mixes an attractive shoreline with an array of ancient ruins.
