The huge number of activities, hobbies and attractions on offer will be used to persuade even more people to travel to Tenerife for a holiday this winter.
According to Travel Weekly, the Tenerife Tourism Corporation will launch a new campaign based on the pursuits available on the Spanish island that will aim to lure visitors.
Among the factors set to be featured are golf, festivals, food and drink, family days out and cultural sites.
In addition to the promotional scheme, there are plans on the landmass, located off Africa's west coast, to construct a walking path between Arona and Adeje, as well as a new bicycle route, the publication explains.
Keen walkers are particularly well catered for on holiday in Tenerife, with a range of coastal routes supported by the hilly paths around Mount Teide.
Dealchecker.co.uk recently said there has been a rise in interest in holidays in Tenerife recently, perhaps as people begin to consider winter sun destinations.
