The finest beach in the Canary Islands can be found by those who take a holiday in Tenerife, it has been claimed.
Annie Bennett, writing for the Telegraph, says Las Teresitas offers turquoise water, golden sand and palm trees, all sheltered by a backdrop of mountains.
She adds it "sounds perfect – and indeed it is" before explaining how the shore has come to be just so breathtaking.
An artificial reef has been placed in the sea, meaning the water remains calm for much of the time, in the process attractive shoals of tropical fish.
As well as the natural beauty on show, the resort also has numerous bars and restaurants to ensure nobody taking a Tenerife holiday in the area goes thirsty or hungry during their time at Las Teresitas.
The Bristol Evening Post recently observed the one guarantee when heading to the neighbouring island of Lanzarote is "a great tan".
