Those considering booking up villas in Tenerife have been told of a social network scheme that has been launched to attract people to the island in the Canaries.
One of the ways that the Tenerife Tourism Corporation is hoping to bring in both first-time visitors to the resort, as well as returning visitors, is through a newly-launched Facebook page.
First appearing on the popular social-network site in January, the page has already attracted more than 1,000 fans and more than 30,000 views.
People considering villa holidays to Tenerife can find information on the popular Spanish island, post images and videos of their experiences at the destination and even stand a chance winning a luxury trip there.
All that is needed to be done to stand a chance of winning this appealing prize is to "like" the page.
Other social ventures of the Tenerife Tourism Corporation include a Twitter stream and a section of YouTube.
Recently, Tina Ediss told the Daily Mirror of some of the most-appealing beaches in Tenerife, which included Playa Del Duque in Costa Adeje and the Los Cristianos sands of Playa de Las Vistas.
