Holiday in Tenerife 'offers guaranteed sun'
People who choose Tenerife as their holiday destination this winter will not be disappointed, as the Spanish island offers beautiful views, coastal retreats and guaranteed sunshine even in the northern hemisphere's coldest months.
The Daily Mirror names the resort as one worth considering at the moment, with a range of accommodation available to those who travel there.
Another advantage of a trip to Tenerife is the relatively short flight time, with the Canaries accessible in about four hours – significantly less than in the case of many other winter sun destinations.
There are also water parks, surfing venues and palm trees to relax beneath, ensuring a break on the island will never be boring or without adventure.
And people who wish to see a little more of the natural beauty of Tenerife while on holiday there should head to the famous Teide National Park, home to a "towering volcano", writes the newspaper.
One event to watch out for in Tenerife over the coming weeks is the arrival of the Moscow Ballet company, which is due to perform in the resort.
