A supermarket worker who won more than £5 million on the National Lottery has made her first purchase after the huge payout – a holiday in Tenerife.
Sue Stebbings, 43, of Suffolk scooped £5,629,964 on the nationwide game, of which she has so far splashed out just over £1,200.
She reveals the vast majority of that is on a holiday to Tenerife for her and husband Richard, while the only other item she has bought is a new shirt.
"I will take a year out but I would like to go back to work. I think I'd be bored at home," Mrs Stebbings says.
The couple are due to jet off to the Spanish island before Christmas for a well-deserved rest in the sun, while they could also take the opportunity to visit Tenerife's mountainous inland regions.
According to a recent report by the Edinburgh Evening News, the destination is home to one of the world's greatest attractions – Loro Parque, an exotic animal reserve.
