People on holiday in Tenerife are in one of the few locations in the world where it is possible to explore what lies at the bottom of the sea thanks to an underwater scooter.
The unique design means even tourists who cannot swim are able to dive in and take a closer look at coral, plants and marine wildlife, reports the Daily Mail.
With an oxygen tank attached, the vehicle allows people to travel up to 100 ft below the surface for about an hour.
Andrew Sneath, designer of the HydroBOB and founder of the firm that rents them out, tells the newspaper: "With minimal training the rider can cruise the underwater world without the need to wear cumbersome dive equipment."
Using such a piece of technology to venture below the waves may appeal to many, some of whom could book a holiday in Tenerife in order to try it out.
Breanne Watson, writing for the Richmond Globetrotter, recently said the Spanish island offers plenty of hidden treasures for visitors to find.
