The reputation of Tenerife as a great spot to enjoy a winter holiday is continuing this season, with one website reporting a surge in interest in a trip to the Spanish island.
Dealchecker.co.uk says there has been a significant rise in the number of requests related to breaks both in the country's mainland and in Tenerife.
The famously mild weather of the Canary Islands at a time when much of Europe is cold and wet makes the region a popular location among sun seekers.
Alex Saint of the website says: "With the winter months setting in we have seen an increase in travellers looking to enjoy some Mediterranean winter sunshine. The top destinations for November and December are ... Tenerife and Spain."
Another advantage of Tenerife is its diverse mix of sun and beautiful beaches with history and scenic inland areas.
Trumpetyourself.com recently recommended the island as a "beautiful" destination for people to head to, with plenty of water-based adventure to be had.
