Loro Parque, described as one of Europe's most fascinating nature parks, offers a unique mix of wildlife, fun and adventure and education.
Located on 135,000 sq m of land on the Spanish island, the complex boasts a zoo, aquarium and learning centre.
From parrots to penguins and plants, families can get up close to all kinds of creatures at one of Tenerife's premier tourist attractions.
Loro Parque is home to the world's largest penguin enclosure, with more than 200 of the birds on show, as well as a killer whale centre that now includes a baby.
According to a recent report by Travel Weekly, the wide range of activities on offer on the island is to be one of the major factors in an upcoming campaign by Tenerife tourism bosses.
