The appeal of booking south of France villas in October

Families may look to book up villas in the south of France once they hear of the events coming to the region throughout October.

Mums, dads, boys and girls are sure to find something to interest them in the next month around the area.

For petrolheads, the annual Antibes-Cote d'Azur Motor Rally could make for an ideal day out while staying in south of France villas.

Taking place between October 14th and 16th, the attraction represents the French leg of the European Rally Championships, with races taking place throughout the weekend.

Couples may be more inclined to seek out the Occitan Festival, which is taking place at the Francis Gag Theatre in Nice.

Honouring the Romance language of Occitan that is frequently spoken in the region, the attraction takes in a host of plays and music performances.

Also in October, nature lovers staying in villas in the south of France may want to check out the Gondwara Plant Festival, where Mediterranean flora and biodiversity is celebrated at Le Rayol Canade.
