There will be plenty of fun-filled activities for people to dip into if they take up trips to south of France villas near to Nice this summer.
With the city hosting Maytime Fetes for Brits who would like to know more about French culture, coupled with the Nice Book Fair for those who love to read, there is something for every holiday maker to enjoy.
Families can head along to Nice's Maytime Fetes on each Sunday in May, in which locals honour the destination's celebrated history.
Taking place at Arenes de Jardins de Cimiez, the events sees a host of local folk tales performed throughout the ceremony, as well as a variety of local bands providing atmospheric musical displays.
People in Nice come June should also look to take a trip to see the sights and sounds of the Nice Book Fair.
The occasion will see more than 300 authors from across the world descend on the region's picturesque Albert I gardens to present live talks and debates on a number of literary subjects.
