South of France villas 'surrounded by fascinating sights'
Holiday makers who are heading along to villas in the south of France somewhere in the country's Riviera area have been told of the sights to visit.
The south-east coast region of the European nation is home to "a variety of fascinating sightseeing adventures", a writer at TravelBite.co.uk noted.
For one, they advised Brits to make sure to take time out of enjoying the sun's rays to visit the Saint Nicholas Cathedral, located in Monaco.
"The 19th-century monument is a local landmark where actress Grace Kelly married Rainier III - Prince of Monaco," the expert acknowledged.
People in the French Riviera closer to La Trinite in Nice have been urged to not miss out on the opportunity to explore the Sanctuaire De Notre Dame De Laghet - a church which is decorated with a statue of the Virgin Mary.
Nice offers a whole range of exciting events for holiday makers to enjoy over the summer too, such as the Latin-themed Cote d'Azur Tango Festival next month.
