South of France villas: Sunglasses are 'also stylish in winter'
People hoping to travel in order to get some winter sun, perhaps by booking up villas in the south of France, have been given some fashion advice regarding picking the right sunglasses.
Kate Williams, shopping editor for OSOYOU, believes that "there's never a more stylish time to pull out a pair of shades than the autumn and winter season".
She pointed out that even in colder climates, sunglasses can "look unexpectedly chic" when paired with a warm winter coat.
To make sure the right style is selected, the expert advised people with square faces to opt for circular frames, while rectangular specs are recommended to those with rounded faces.
"What better excuse to seek out some winter sun than a brand new pair of sunglasses?" Ms Williams finished by asking.
Dave Byrd, director of risk and regulatory affairs for National Ski Areas Association, also pointed out to people seeking stays in south of France villas that goggles should be considered "essential ski equipment".
