South of France villas: 'Brits and Italians most flirtatious on holiday'

Brits planning on booking up villas in the south of France have been told of fellow travellers' antics when travelling overseas.

According to a survey by Kuoni, the Italians were the only nation which beat those from the UK in the league of which nation is seen as the biggest flirts.

Out of 1,000 respondents, 24 per cent saw Italians as the top flirts, with 15 per cent believing the Brits led the way in these stakes. The Spanish (12 per cent) and French (ten per cent) trailed behind in third and fourth spots respectively.

Other results which may interest those seeking out south of France villas include holiday makers from the north west of England making the fewest pre-holiday preparations, while the older travellers conducted more research into where they were heading off to.

After the getaway has come to an end, Glaswegians are seen as most likely to don clothes at home to remind them of their holiday.

Meanwhile, a writer of Sabotage Times has recently advised Cote d'Azur in the south of France as an ideal location for honeymoon couples, due to the fact that it "offers atmospheric hideaways".
