Ski fans taking holidays in France urged to 'visit Val d'Isere'
Holiday makers hoping to enjoy a trip to a ski resort by snapping up south of France villas in the weeks to come have been given some advice so that they can enhance their getaway experience.
Directski.com has given its views on the best winter sports holiday destinations for 2012, with French destination Val d'Isere making the list.
The website acknowledged that the resort is perfect for "ski divas" as it boasts a mixture of world-class facilities and challenging off-piste attractions.
People hoping to showcase their skills on the slopes should also take a trip to The Oakley Valpark while in Val d'Isere.
At this venue, holiday makers can perform a variety of hips and jumps, while difficulty levels range from the basic green zones to the expert black hills.
Directski.com was also keen to advise Brits that travelling to a ski resort in mid-January will mean that people can get the Christmas season out of the way and also not be bogged down by the February half-term school holidays.
