See Bob Dylan live on a south of France villa holiday

Music fans planning a south of France villa holiday this year will be offered what could be a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Iconic singer-songwriter Bob Dylan will visit the region in June as part of a tour of Europe.

His first French gig will be at the Halle Tony Garnier in Lyon on June 20th, which will be followed by a concert at the Zenith in Nice - a popular destination among people staying in Provence villas - on June 22nd.

The legendary performer will also play Le Dome de Marseille on June 23rd, the Antique Theatre in Carcassonne on June 28th and the Patinoire in Bordeaux the following night.

Dylan has been part of the folk and rock music scene for almost 50 years, with his self-titled debut album being released in 1962.

He has been honoured with several accolades for his songwriting and live performances, including 11 Grammy Awards and an Oscar for the song Things Have Changed, which featured on the soundtrack for the film Wonder Boys.
