There are many attractions that tempt people, including the rich and famous, to holiday in the south of France.
One that may not be so widely realised is the region's strong perfume-making credentials, which stem from the town of Grasse - described as the world's fragrance capital by the Birmingham Mail.
With the likes of Brad Pitt and Vanessa Paradis just two of the famous faces to have put in an appearance at the resort, those who like either the latest smells or Hollywood A-listers may enjoy themselves in the area.
According to the newspaper, the list of celebrities to have produced their own perfume is endless, but that is not necessarily a requirement for having a go.
Indeed, anybody who takes a holiday in the south of France could use it as an opportunity to craft their own distinctive aroma.
Other glamorous events that may tempt celebrities to the Mediterranean coast include the Monaco Grand Prix and the Cannes Film Festival.
