Rent a South of France villa for fine beaches, food and wine
People taking a South of France villa holiday will be resented with white sandy beaches, fine foods and world-famous vineyards.
That is according to the Telegraph, which highlights the exquisite beauty of the Aquitaine coastline, as well as the vineyards surrounding the historic town of Bordeaux.
"From the Gironde Estuary that splits the west coast in half, the beach plunges, straight as an arrow, south to Bayonne," it says.
"The white powder sand, up to 1,500ft wide in places, backed by dunes and dense national forests, stretches for more than 150 miles."
As if the stunning natural scenery isn't enough, the newspaper also highlights the luxurious wines and "indulgent" spas that can be found throughout the area.
The region surrounding the resort of Biarritz is also noted, for its family-friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Vacationers enjoying a Bordeaux holiday will also find plenty of history, culture and shopping while in the breathtaking city.
