Rent Provence villas to enjoy some jazz in Ramatuelle

Jazz fans staying in Provence villas during a south of France holiday in August might want to check out a festival taking place in the region.

The 25th Ramatuelle Jazz Festival will get underway on August 16th and feature live gigs for five consecutive nights up to August 20th.

Ramatuelle is a picturesque hilltop town located in the Var region of Provence, not far from Saint-Tropez and Gassin.

People staying in south of France holiday villas can visit the destination to see the festival get underway on August 16th with a performance by the Brussels Jazz Orchestra, who will be joined by trumpet player Bert Joris.

The Kenny Werner Quintet will take to the stage the following evening, followed by Martial Solal and Stefano Bollani on August 18th and the Emile Parisien Quartet on the 19th.

Visitors will be able to see the 2010 Ramatuelle Jazz Festival come to an end on the evening of August 20th with a show by the Belmondo Quintet.

Holiday makers hoping to catch any of the shows while staying in holiday villas in Provence should visit the Theatre de Verdure in Ramatuelle.
