Rent Cote d'Azur villas for the Aix-en-Provence Festival

People staying in Cote d'Azur villas this summer will have the opportunity to visit Aix-en-Provence for a memorable cultural experience.

The city will host its famous annual festival from June 4th to July 21st, with the majority of events taking place after June 26th.

Founded in 1948, the Aix-en-Provence Festival has grown into one of the most important and eagerly awaited cultural celebrations in France, bringing opera, live music and various other events to venues throughout the city.

Highlights of this year's programme will include a performance by the Trisha Brown Dance Company at the Grand Theatre de Provence on June 4th.

People planning south of France villa holidays will also be able to visit the Theatre de l'Archeveche to see a production of Mozart's Don Giovanni and Gluck's Alceste, both of which will be performed several times during the festival.

As well as attending the live events, visitors can explore Aix-en-Provence to see its sights and landmarks, which include the Cours Mirabeau, La Rotonde and the church of Saint Jean de Malte.
