Provence holidays suit Brad and Angelina

It seems that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie enjoy South of France holidays so much that they have decided to buy their own place in the country.

The couple have reportedly spent £45 million on a holiday home in Provence where they can enjoy the best of what the region has to offer.

But it's not just any holiday home - it's a French chateau with no less than 35 bedrooms set in a 1,000-acre estate.

The pair bought the property for £35 million and plan to spend a further £10 million installing jacuzzis, steam rooms, a spa, a gym and a wine cellar.

"We're trying to spend more time in the South of France, because our kids have a normal life there," actor Pitt said recently.

Families renting their own Provence villas in the South of France may be lucky enough to spot the couple during their holiday.

Those staying in Boulbon will also be close to a medieval chateau, which towers over the village.

It is an excellent base from which to explore Provence, with the towns of Avignon and Tarascon close by.

The surrounding countryside is also great for those who enjoy getting out and about on foot.
