New website to help tourists with winter holidays in south of France
People planning a winter holiday to the south of France this year, perhaps to enjoy the region's exceptional skiing and snowboarding facilities, may wish to take a look at a new website.
The France Tourism Development Agency has launched the online portal to offer future travellers tips on how to make the most of their time in the country.
Southern France is popular with those looking for both sun and snow, with glamorous resorts lining the Mediterranean coast, while inland lies the Alps and its numerous winter sports resorts.
Affordable France, the site launched by the organisation in 2007, now enjoys about 2,750 unique visitors each month.
Many of those may find their experience on holiday in the south of France is enhanced by the advice and offers they pick up online.
The Daily Mirror recently reported that one famous face to be taking a break in the region was ex-Spice Girl Geri Halliwell.
