New flights to Nice introduced by bmi

Brits now have the chance to fly out to villas in the south of France region of Nice, thanks to new routes by British Midland International (bmi).

The airline launched fresh flights to the city on August 25th from London Heathrow, initially operating on a daily basis.

From October 30th though, tourists in the UK will be able to take trips to Nice courtesy of bmi on a twice daily strategy.

Joerg Hennemann, chief commercial officer at the airline company, acknowledged: "Located on the south east coast of France on the Mediterranean Sea, Nice has long been a favourite year-round destination and we are delighted that our customers now have the chance to discover this cosmopolitan city with convenient schedules."

Recently, Jessika Bettan, marketing attache at the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Nice, gave Brits some tips on where to visit if they booked up south of France villas near to this resort.

The expert was keen to advice a trip to the Old Town of Nice during a stay in the city, where narrow streets and colourful houses can be gazed upon, as well as sampling "a beautiful view" of the location from Castle Hill.
