New flights available to take people to south of France holidays
Families and couples lining up a holiday in the south of France for their summer break in 2011 may find new flights launched by bmibaby are of some use.
The airline has announced it is to start a service between Manchester and Montpellier on July 2nd, with the route set to operate twice a week.
It is designed to deal with the busy summer season and will run on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Julian Carr, managing director at bmibaby, says: "This route adds another great French city to our comprehensive portfolio of routes to the south of France, which already includes Toulouse, Lourdes, Perpignan and Bordeaux."
Montpellier itself is said to be a cultured city with a cosmopolitan atmosphere and it is also ideal for those travelling on to other resorts for a south of France holiday.
Val d'Isere Tourist Board recently reminded travellers there is more to the region at this time of year then just skiing.
