Mark Ronson weds in the south of France

Couples who are looking to tie the knot in a foreign country may want to take inspiration from music icon Mark Ronson and book villas in the south of France.

The well-known DJ chose the French destination of Aix en Provence for the location of his wedding to actress and singer Josephine de la Baume yesterday (September 5th).

When it comes to deciding what to wear for their big day, Brits may also want to look to Mr Ronson and Ms Baume for ideas.

The groom walked down the aisle dressed in a candy-striped suit, which was finished with a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses to provide comfort in the hot French sun.

Meanwhile, French icon Ms Baume chose a wedding gown designed by Zac Posen to tie the knot, which was decorated with a cropped veil.

Provence may also appeal to families looking to participate in a host of activities while staying in south of France villas.

The district is home to the Luberon National Park, which packs in a host of socio-cultural delights, as well as awe-inspiring building like the Maison du Parc du Luberon.
