Make your own perfume on a South of France villa holiday
People heading on a South of France villa holiday have the chance to take home a unique souvenir their very own personalised perfume.
Holiday makers can embark on a perfume-making course in the Languedoc region, blending organic essential oils to create their favourite scent, reports the Times.
The news provider recently rated the experience among one of its top 100 summer holiday ideas.
"Here's one that'll leave you smelling of roses
or lavender
or any number of other delicious scents," it states.
"You can blend a host of 100 per cent organic essential oils to come out whiffing of whatever you like."
People can also make facial scrubs, toners, lip balms and massage oils.
The Languedoc is also the world's largest single wine-producing area, and no trip to the region would be complete without taking a day to sample some of the wines from the abundance of vineyards.
