Jazz a Juan to offer entertainment for south of France villa guests

South of France villa holidays will offer some unmissable entertainment for music fans this year when the Jazz a Juan festival returns to the region.

Due to celebrate its 50th anniversary this year, the event will take place in the centre of Antibes Juan-les-Pins from July 14th to 25th.

A host of well-known and respected jazz artists are set to perform at the festival, with Jim's Band and the Jazz a Juan Sextet set to get proceedings underway on July 14th.

Organisers of the concert claim that the bands will be "sharing the stage and illuminating the Pinede before the fireworks illuminate the sky".

Also due to perform on the first day of the festival is the NJO Nice Jazz Orchestra, which will present a repertoire of music representing legendary figures such as Dizzy Gillespie and Duke Ellington, as well as contemporary artists.

People taking south of France villa holidays in July will also have the opportunity to see shows by the likes of Dee Dee Bridgewater, Melody Gardot, Diana Krall and Maceo Parker during Jazz a Juan.
