Geri Halliwell jets in for south of France holiday

Former Spice Girl and solo star Geri Halliwell has arrived in the south of France for a holiday.

The Daily Mirror reports the singer, dressed in a velour tracksuit, touched down in the region this week.

While the south of France's Cote d'Azur may be most popular celebrity haunt in the area, attracting many of the world's rich and famous, there are several resorts Halliwell could be enjoying her time by the Mediterranean.

Among these are Biarritz, Provence and Languedoc, all of which could offer a reliable source of sun and glamour.

When it comes to accommodation, the former band mate of Posh, Baby, Sporty and Scary may have opted for a villa in the south of France.

Jim Byers, travel editor at the Toronto Star, recently picked out Bordeaux as a place to visit while staying in the region, noting it is packed with history, culture and great cuisine.
