Music fans planning to book Biarritz villas for a south of France holiday this summer might be interested in checking out a live event that will be taking place in the city.
The Rip Curl Music Festival will be held on the Illbarritz beach on August 19th and 20th.
Visitors will be treated to a host of free concerts by contemporary hip-hop, dance and rock acts, starting with Wax Tailor, DJ Falcon and the Rodeo on the first day.
Holiday makers staying in Biarritz villas can also head to Illbarritz on August 20th to see performances by I Was a Teenage Alien, Naive New Beaters, Dirty Fonzy and Scratch Perverts.
As well as providing free entertainment, the festival is set up to be environmentally friendly, ensuring that the crowd of some 30,000 visitors leaves no lasting impact on the beach.
Travellers planning to visit Biarritz during a south of France holiday can spend their time relaxing by the sea or visiting local attractions such as the Asiatica Museum.
