Explore the life of Brigitte Bardot on a Cote d'Azur holiday

Travellers planning a Cote d'Azur holiday this summer will have the opportunity to visit an exhibition that evokes the style and character of one of the region's most glamorous destinations.

A show exploring the life of Brigitte Bardot opened at Espace Rendez-Vous des Lices in Saint-Tropez last week and will run until October 31st.

Bardot was an actress, model and singer who rose to fame in the 1950s and 60s and is now regarded as something of a cultural icon.

The exhibition is divided into three sections that are arranged chronologically, offering an insight into the star's life and highlighting her connection with Saint-Tropez.

Holiday makers staying in Cote d'Azur villas can visit the show to learn more about her relationships and affairs, as well as the films she appeared in and songs she released.

The exhibition includes recordings of Bardot's voice, taken from songs and soundtracks, as well as archive documents and objects that once belonged to the actress.

People who visit Saint-Tropez during a south of France holiday can also take the opportunity to explore the bustling marina and walk along the seafront.
